An oil strainer, also known as oil pickup screen, is the primary coarse filtration component installed at the suction inlet of engine oil pumps, hydraulic pumps and transmission lubrication systems. It acts as the first defensive barrier of the whole lubricating circuit, intercepting large-size impurities such as metal shavings, casting sand, gasket fragments and sludge sediment mixed in engine oil before oil enters the pump body. Unlike fine oil filters that work under pressurized pipelines, oil strainers adopt large-flow mesh structure with minimum pressure drop, effectively avoiding pump cavitation, gear abrasion and oil passage blockage caused by coarse debris. Widely matched with sedans, SUVs, pickup trucks, heavy-duty commercial vehicles, motorcycles, agricultural machinery and small hydraulic equipment, high-quality oil strainers stabilize oil pressure output, reduce abnormal engine noise and greatly extend the service life of oil pumps, crankshaft bearings and camshaft assemblies.

Our full-series oil strainers adopt two core screen materials to meet diverse working conditions: 304 stainless steel woven mesh and high-strength reinforced nylon mesh. Stainless steel mesh strainers are preferred for high-temperature heavy-duty engines and marine machinery. The dense uniform woven structure delivers stable 80–300 micron coarse filtration precision, resisting high engine operating temperature, oil corrosion and long-term vibration without mesh deformation or hole expansion. Nylon mesh strainers are lightweight and cost-effective for scooters, small-displacement motorcycles and family passenger cars, with excellent oil resistance and flexible structure that fits narrow oil sump installation space. The outer frame and suction pipe are made of thick steel stamping or high-temperature resistant engineering plastic, integrated welding and injection molding eliminate split seams, preventing air suction and oil leakage that trigger low idle oil pressure warning lights.

Integrated sealing and structural design greatly improves installation tightness. Each oil strainer assembly is equipped with high-temperature fluorine rubber O-rings and positioning springs. After being immersed in the oil pan, the elastic component holds the screen close to the bottom of the sump to avoid vortex air intake during high-speed oil absorption, maintaining continuous and stable oil supply under rapid acceleration and uphill heavy-load driving.
