A laminated leaf spring is a multi-layer stacked suspension component widely used for heavy-duty trailers, medium and large trucks, agricultural machinery and construction equipment. Composed of multiple high-precision spring steel blades with gradually shortened lengths, it is assembled with central bolts, rebound clips and anti-friction spacers to form an integrated load-bearing unit. Different from single leaf springs, the laminated structure provides stronger bearing capacity, progressive elasticity and excellent shock absorption performance, making it the most reliable standard suspension system for heavy-load commercial vehicles and engineering machinery.
Manufactured from high-strength 60Si2Mn and 65Mn spring steel, each blade undergoes strict hot rolling, arc forming, quenching and tempering treatment to achieve uniform hardness, high toughness and outstanding fatigue resistance. The multi-blade laminated design allows each steel plate to bear pressure step by step. Under light loads, the main blade works independently to ensure flexible and comfortable buffering. Under heavy loads, all auxiliary blades fit closely to share pressure, effectively dispersing impact force from bumpy roads. This graded bearing structure prevents sudden stress concentration, reduces chassis vibration, and greatly improves vehicle stability and cargo safety during long-distance transportation and harsh field operation.
Laminated leaf springs feature unique structural stability and durability. Spacers between each layer reduce metal friction and eliminate abnormal vibration noise during high-speed or bumpy driving. Reinforced positioning clips effectively prevent blade dislocation, sliding and loosening under long-term alternating vibration. With professional shot blasting, painting or galvanized surface treatment, the whole assembly gains excellent rustproof, corrosion-resistant and wear-resistant performance, adapting to dusty construction sites, humid farmland, rainy weather and other harsh outdoor working environments.
Thanks to its progressive elastic characteristic, the laminated leaf spring delivers softer buffering at low load and higher rigidity at full load, perfectly balancing driving comfort and load-bearing performance. Compared with single leaf springs, it has stronger anti-fatigue ability and longer service life, resisting permanent deformation and fracture after tens of thousands of compression and rebound cycles. Its assembled structure also allows convenient replacement and maintenance, effectively reducing fleet operating costs and equipment downtime.
Widely applicable to heavy trailers, dump trucks, cargo trucks, tractors and engineering machinery, laminated leaf springs support customized blade quantity, length, thickness and arc radian to meet different load grades. As a core chassis suspension component, it effectively improves vehicle carrying capacity, enhances road adaptability, and provides stable, safe and cost-effective suspension protection for all kinds of heavy-duty transportation and mechanical equipment.
