Product Details

Blade leaf spring, also called single-blade leaf spring or monolithic leaf spring, is an integrated elastic suspension part made of one whole piece of high-strength spring steel plate. It differs greatly from traditional laminated multi-layer leaf springs, relying on a single thickened steel blade to complete load bearing and shock absorption. This lightweight suspension component is widely matched with light trucks, small trailers, mini cargo vehicles, agricultural machinery and small engineering equipment, favored by vehicle manufacturers for its simple structure, low weight and convenient installation.

The raw material of blade leaf spring is premium spring steel such as 60Si2Mn and 65Mn. After high-precision rolling, bending forming and complete quenching and tempering heat treatment, the steel blade obtains balanced hardness and toughness. The integral arc design makes stress evenly distributed on the whole blade when bearing loads. When vehicles run over bumpy roads, the single steel blade elastically bends to absorb impact and vibration from the ground. Once the impact disappears, it quickly rebounds to the original radian to maintain stable chassis support. Without gaps and friction between multiple steel plates, it effectively avoids abnormal friction noise generated during long-term driving.

The biggest highlight of blade leaf spring lies in its simplified integrated structure. Compared with multi-layer laminated leaf springs, it removes auxiliary accessories like interlayer gaskets, positioning clips and multiple steel sheets. The whole component only contains one steel blade, center bolt and installation bushing. This design greatly cuts the overall weight of the suspension system, reduces the vehicle’s dead weight and indirectly improves fuel economy. Meanwhile, fewer wearing parts lower the probability of abnormal wear, dislocation and looseness during high-vibration transportation.

In terms of environmental adaptability, blade leaf springs support various surface treatments including shot blasting, paint spraying and galvanization. The compact and smooth surface is not easy to accumulate mud, dust and corrosive substances, delivering reliable anti-rust and anti-corrosion effects in rainy, muddy and coastal salt-spray working conditions. It maintains stable elastic performance after long-term alternating compression, with strong anti-fatigue capacity and no permanent bending deformation under rated load.

Blade leaf springs cover multiple application scenarios of light-load transport machinery. They serve as core suspension parts for light-duty delivery trucks, flatbed small trailers, tractor auxiliary supports and miniature construction machinery. Manufacturers can customize blade thickness, length, arc radian and mounting hole positions according to different load requirements. Its maintenance cost is much lower than multi-plate leaf springs; only regular inspection of surface corrosion and bushing wear is needed in daily use.

For light commercial vehicle factories and logistics fleets, high-quality blade leaf springs balance load capacity, shock absorption effect and manufacturing cost. It reduces vehicle failure frequency, shortens maintenance downtime and brings long-term economic benefits, becoming an ideal lightweight suspension solution for light-load transport and small agricultural machinery.
