1.Long-term overload(Top reason)
Exceeding the designed rated load puts persistent excessive stress on spring steel.Continuous overload exceeds material fatigue limit and causes crack&fracture easily.
2.Loose U-bolts
Loose U-clamps make leaf springs shift and bear uneven force during driving.Partial concentrated load leads to sudden breakage over time.
3.Poor road condition&violent impact
Frequent bumping on potholes, mine and rough roads creates instant impact load, damaging spring sheets rapidly.
4.Aging&fatigue of raw material
Low-grade raw steel or insufficient heat treatment reduces toughness. After long service, metal fatigue appears and springs crack gradually.
5.Wrong installation&mismatched specifications
Replacing with mismatched camber, thickness or leaf quantity destroys original stress design, resulting in premature fracture.
6.Damaged spring bushing
Worn-out rubber bush causes abnormal swing of leaf spring assembly and irregular stress distribution.
Our factory uses high-quality 65Mn/SUP9 spring steel with strict heat treatment to improve anti-break performance;customized specifications available.
