How to choose leaf spring thickness based on load capacity?

1. Light load (2–5 tons)

Single leaf thickness: 8mm ~10mm.

Slim thickness brings flexible damping, suitable for urban delivery and paved road regular haulage, avoid unnecessary rigidness.

2. Medium load (6–15 tons)

Single leaf thickness: 11mm ~14mm.

Standard mainstream specification for highway cargo trucks, balance load resistance and fatigue resistance for long-distance transportation.

3. Heavy & overloaded (16 tons+, mine/construction vehicle)

Single leaf thickness: 15mm ~20mm thickened plate.
