Product Details

The 430 clutch pressure plate takes its name from its 430-millimeter friction working diameter, which is a vital heavy-duty component for dry clutch systems fitted on high-power heavy trucks, semi-trailer tractors, mine dumpers and large passenger coaches. Serving as the core clamping unit between engine flywheel and clutch disc, this assembly manages power cut-off and engagement to enable smooth gear shifts. For vehicles undertaking long-distance heavy haulage, mountain transportation and frequent start-stop operations, standard small-sized pressure plates often suffer slipping, overheating and premature damage. By contrast, the 430 pressure plate features a wider friction contact zone, greater clamping tension and superior heat dissipation capacity, making it the preferred matching component for engines over 370 horsepower and vehicles with extreme load requirements.

Complete Assembly Structure

Each finished 430 clutch pressure plate consists of five precision-manufactured core parts: reinforced clutch cover, heat-resistant cast iron pressure plate, high-performance diaphragm spring, drive straps and anti-vibration rivets.

The clutch cover is integrally stamped with thickened high-strength steel sheets. Reinforced edge structures enhance overall rigidity to resist thermal deformation after prolonged high-temperature work. The flat working surface of the pressure plate is made of dense wear-resistant alloy cast iron, treated with ultra-precise grinding to ensure full, even contact with friction discs and avoid uneven partial wear. The diaphragm spring, forged from premium 51CrV4 chromium-vanadium spring steel, provides steady clamping force. Two mainstream structures, push type and pull type, are offered to match most domestic and European heavy-duty vehicle models. Elastic drive straps link the clutch cover and pressure plate tightly, ensuring synchronized movement during separation and combination without lag or jamming. All connecting rivets go through anti-loosening processing to withstand continuous vibration on rough roads.

Working Mechanism

When the clutch pedal is fully released, the diaphragm spring bounces back to its original radian and generates uniform axial clamping force, squeezing the clutch disc firmly between the pressure plate and flywheel. Driven by friction, engine torque is fully delivered to the gearbox to power vehicle travel. When the driver presses down the clutch pedal, the release bearing pushes the spring fingers of the diaphragm spring, changing its curved shape and lifting the pressure plate away from the friction disc. At this stage, power transmission is interrupted, allowing the driver to shift gears without harsh gear collision or abnormal noise. Thanks to its large 430mm friction surface, pressure and heat generated during power transfer are evenly dispersed, significantly reducing local high temperature and effectively extending the service life of the entire clutch assembly.

Raw Material & Strict Production Standards

All raw materials comply with IATF16949 international automotive quality standards. The clutch cover adopts impact-resistant low-alloy structural steel; the pressure plate uses cast iron with excellent thermal stability and wear resistance; the diaphragm spring features outstanding bending fatigue resistance.

The full production workflow covers CNC cutting, hot forming, stress relief annealing, surface fine grinding, component assembly, dynamic balance calibration, electrophoretic rust-proof coating and full performance testing of finished goods. Diaphragm springs receive shot peening treatment to eliminate internal residual stress and prevent fatigue fractures after millions of repeated compressions. Double-layer anti-corrosion coatings shield the whole assembly from corrosion caused by rainwater, mud, dust and road salt spray.

Main Competitive Advantages

Strong torque bearing capacity, capable of stable power transmission under full-load heavy transport without clutch slipping.

Outstanding heat dissipation performance, controlling working temperature and lowering the failure rate of clutch matching parts.

Reasonably optimized spring stiffness brings moderate pedal force, smooth separation and soft engagement for improved driving comfort.

Reinforced integral structure improves anti-fatigue performance, cutting maintenance frequency and overall operating costs for transport fleets.

Flexible customization of installation hole spacing, overall thickness and spring types, supporting OEM original matching and aftermarket replacement for Sinotruk, Shacman, FAW, Volvo, Scania and other mainstream heavy truck brands.

Application Range

This 430 clutch pressure plate is widely installed on container semi-trailers, mining dump trucks, long-distance passenger buses, heavy agricultural transport vehicles and construction machinery transport trucks. It serves as a reliable replacement spare part for auto repair shops, logistics companies and engineering equipment maintenance suppliers, delivering stable and durable power transmission performance under various harsh heavy-duty working environments.
